Cub Scouts are young people aged between 8 and 10 1/2, who make up the second section of the Scouting family, between Beavers and Scouts. Cub Scouts will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. There are a range of badges available which Cub Scouts can wear on their uniforms to show everyone how well they're doing. Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Sometimes they will be able to go camping with the rest of the Pack and take part in all kinds of outdoor activities.

My name is Alistair and I took over as Cub Scout Leader in Sept 2007. I have had over 30 years involvement with the Cub Section holding various Group and Districts Appointments. I have been actively involved with Northampton District Gang Show and in 2007 I was priviledged to lead one of the Northamptonshire Units to the World Scout Jamboree. My aim for the Cubs is to give them every opportunity to try new and exciting things to help them develop and most importantly have fun.

Cubs Meet at 6:15 until 7:45 every Monday during school term at the Pastures Community Centre
